		<description>Koh Samui experienced a boom after 2000, and then slowed down to not much more than a crawl in 2006 when the government became unstable and regulations where tightened on foreign investment.

However, now the government has stabilized and again appears open to foreign investment.

Meanwhile, large scale development continues on Samui.  The market is expected continue to get stronger in the later half of this year.  It is a good time to invest.
